What is an RTS?
Connecticut Rehab's Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers are specialists. They provide expertise in assistive/rehabilitation technology in the areas of wheeled mobility, seating and alternative positioning, ambulating assistance, environmental control and activities of daily living.
RTS's role in the assessment process:
After listening to and ascertaining our clients and clinicians goals, the RTS provides equipment options that will address their mobility and positioning needs.
- Compiling the specifications and medical documentation
- Research funding
- Providing equipment for simulation and clinical trials when required
- Delivery, adjustment and instruction on proper/safe use of equipment
